The arch of your foot is that slightly curved area between your heel and the ball of your foot. Some people have unusually high arches, which can lead to a range of problems, from occasional pain to permanent structural changes.

In most cases, medical treatment isn’t needed for high arches.

A good pair of walking shoes is a must. It helps with distributing your weight evenly while walking and standing and it reduces the risk of foot problems caused by high arches.

You can do some stretching exercises at home as well.
